An update on Open Planning at IBM

Kevin Bishop, a visiting professor at the Centre, was chair of the MNP Best Practice Group that developed the Open Planning framework and is now a leading advocate of the method. He will share his experience at IBM on Open Planning and Integrated Marketing more generally, as well as launching the new Integrated Marketing research club.

Mail Media Effectiveness in FMCG: Insights from a major Tesco Clubcard research project on mail effectiveness
Nigel Paice, Client Director, Media, dunnhumby

Dunnhumby have been working for 10 years with Tesco since the launch of Clubcard, helping them understand the needs of their customers by using shopping data from 10m anonymised grocery shoppers. Nigel Paice, who joined dunnhumby in 1997 and is responsible for their Media Services business, will reveal powerful insights from this data about mail media impact lasting up to a year across a range of major FMCG brands.
